Come celebrate World Interaction Design Day 2018 in Umeå!
This year's theme is Diversity and Inclusion in Design and we have two inspiring speakers that will talk about the topic while the rest of us are enjoying tasty food and refreshments. We will of course open up for discussions and insights from everyone on this important topic.
Hope to see you there!

Talk: Nobody is an edge case: writing human-centered UX copy
Words don’t just mean things, they also do things. Language is action, and every word has the potential to include or exclude people. That's why an empowered UX writer can help a whole product team be a stronger ally to users. UX writing can help create more inclusive experiences, but UX writers can also end up exposing and naming problems that go beyond design and development. We’ll look at some of the challenges and opportunities for UX writing as a tool for inclusion--and we'll talk about its limits.
