Hi JAMsters!

Our next JAMstack Boston Meetup will take place on Tues, April 16th at 6 p.m.!

This month we have Divya Sasidharan (@shortdiv), a developer advocate at Netlify who writes and speaks about JAMstack architecture. She previously built websites for mid to large scale client projects as well as story-telling apps/tools for journalists. In her free time, she is an avid rock climber and cyclist.

Project Description:
One of the most beautiful things about the JAMstack is how you can progressively add functionality to a static site just like you would add visual components. In particular, often want to add authentication and serverless functions to make our sites more and more dynamic... and, of course, authenticated serverless functions! In this talk we discuss the why and the how of the blurring line between static and dynamic, and show how to do it with React, Gatsby, and Netlify!

As always, the intent of this meetup is to collaborate, network, learn, grow and most importantly have fun! Here's the agenda:

6:00 - 6:30 Food & Beer

6:30 - 6:40 Opening Remarks

6:40 - 7:40 "Turning the Static Dynamic" with Divya Sasidharan

7:40 - 8:00 Closing Remarks

Look forward to seeing everyone!
