Getting Started with Headless CMS (workshop)

Details
In our first workshop in this series, we focused on Netlify and how to get a project setup on Netlify, plus a few other bells and whistles. The second workshop focused on Static Site Generators. In this third installment, we're going to bring the first two together and hook up a headless CMS to our project.
This exploration will is appropriate for newbies and old hats alike. We will cover some basic concepts, but we will also brush the surface of more complex topics. The workshop will flow to serve every developer in the room.
Agenda:
5:30pm - Doors open & networking
6:00pm - Welcome, Announcements, & headless CMS overview
6:10pm - Workshop: Getting Started with Headless CMS
7:00pm - Wrap Up
Prerequisites for this Meetup are as follows:
- Bring your laptop!
- Install your favorite text editor on your laptop. If you don't have a preference, try VS Code (https://code.visualstudio.com/) or Atom (https://atom.io/).
- Install Git (https://git-scm.com/). While it will help if you have some familiarity with Git (and GitHub), it's okay if you aren't familiar with either. We're going to run a few commands. But it's an important piece of the puzzle, so we will cover it.
- Sign up for GitHub (https://github.com/).
- Sign up for Netlify (https://www.netlify.com/).
If you need help with any of these steps (other than the laptop), plan to arrive at 5:30 and we will help you get started.
