Jerusalem is one of the principal poles on R&D in Life Sciences in Israel, with roughly half of its medical research and a significant biotechnology industry. For this reason, Jerusalem Mayor, Mr. Nir Barkat, together with the City Council has marked as top priority the development of Jerusalem as the capital of the Israeli Bio-med Industry.

About Jeffrey Miller:
Jeffrey Miller founded Miller Communications Group (MCG) in 2008, after building a successful career in the Life Science and Information Technology industries. MCG is a specialty consulting firm offering capital and investor relation services, business development, marketing and media services to early stage Life Science and Technology companies. From 2003 to 2008, Mr. Miller was Managing Director of Burrill & Company’s Life Sciences Media Group and on the Executive Committee.

Prior to Burrill & Company, Miller spent nearly 20 years in Information Technology media, launching and managing publications, expositions and conferences. Most notable amongst these are The Internet Industry Standard and TheStandard.net, one of the fastest growing publications in the US in the ‘90s, Windows Magazine, PC Magazine, MacUser Magazine, Visual Basic Programmer’s Journal, Java Pro Magazine, Telecom Asia, Wireless Asia and America’s Network. Miller worked as a media executive with Nielsen Business Media, IDG Publications, CMP Publications, and Ziff-Davis Publishing. Early in his career he was an Account Executive with Ted Bates & Company and Savitt, Tobias & Balk Advertising Agencies in NY.
