Skydive the Beach @ Amelia Island

Experience Skydive the Beach with a tandem skydive! Tandem skydives require minimal training while maintaining the highest degree of safety. Your instructor will be with you through the entire skydive and parachute ride. Just relax and enjoy the great views on your first jump!

Before your jump, you will have a 15 minute class on how to help your instructor make your skydive the safest and most exciting skydiving adventure! Walking to the airplane comes next, and it may be the most intimidating part of the day. You may be unsure about what to expect as you climb into your seat in the airplane. Then, when you hear the engine roar, you'll feel a surge of energy and know you are ready!

At about 3000 feet / ~3 minutes after takeoff, you will start your scenic flight over the Atlantic Ocean. You will see Fernandina Beach and much more from your bird's eye view. Enthusiastic first timers may be able to pull the parachute themselves, so be sure to ask if you are interested in doing this.

Right before you jump the camera will capture you looking back into the plane at your friends. READY... SET... GO!!!!!! Don’t forget to smile for your 120 MPH FREEFALL for over 40 seconds! You'll feel like you are flying as our video camera captures it all.

When your parachute opens, you will feel the wind stop. Then you will peacefully float down from 5000 feet. Your parachute ride will last about 7 minutes as you steer the parachute on your way down.

You will be surprised at the ease with which you land your parachute. The landing will feel as if you are stepping off of your front porch. After your jump, be sure to enjoy some refreshments at one of the area's many excellent eateries!

Dives are two passengers per trip -- so find a dive buddy!
