Building Serverless in Alibaba Cloud (including Hands-on Workshop)

Learn how to build serverless application in the cloud with a hands-on workshop

For the first 50 people that would like to join this workshop and register a new account, we're going to give $20 credits for the hands-on workshop.

In this meetup, we're going to build a serverless application from end-to-end. We will build a mini CMS (CRUD) with a twist in the user management system.

Some of the products that we will use:

• Object Storage Service (OSS): This is our frontend where JS and CSS resides
• Serverless Container Service: We don't need to manage the server and just focus on the application
• TableStore: NoSQL database to easily scale without server management
• Function Compute: Focus on code and triggers instead of server
• SMS: Additional service for the notification (and OTP!)

Please bring your own laptop preferably with Docker installed.

Prior joining Alibaba as Solutions Architect, Eric Purwoko spent his past 12 years working in Information Technology industry. Started as System Engineer to Technical Pre-sales, a mixed knowledge between technical and business knowledge.

He has experience from enterprise solutions background such as ITSM, Service Assurance, Integration Platform and Identity Management. Recently focusing on cloud based solutions and always keen to work with new solutions and technologies.
