Eliminating Hardcoded Kafka Credentials with VaultAbstract:
In this session, we’ll explore how to secure Kafka clients using HashiCorp Vault by eliminating hardcoded secrets and enabling dynamic credential management. Attendees will learn what HashiCorp Vault is, how to set up a Vault server, and how to store and manage sensitive information like SASL authentication details. The session will include a hands-on demo showing how to use the Vault Python SDK to securely retrieve Kafka credentials at runtime, helping improve the overall security posture of Kafka environments.***
