About us
Jam With Humans is a project dedicated to teaching and performing contemporary music. from humans to humans.
In this group, you'll find mostly workshops on musical improvisation and creativity. They are free (pay-what-you-can) and very regular. Click on one of our future workshops in the calendar to learn more about them (there's even an FAQ, that's how serious we are).
From time to time, we do other activities such as courses and live shows. Anything we do, it's guaranteed to be fun 😁

A Workshop In Which I Convince You To Be A Confident Idiot
Tankstation’s Greenhouse, Emmastraat 189, 7513 BC Enschede, Netherlands, Enschede, OV, NL👉 REGISTER HERE 👈
This is a workshop about how you express yourself in front of others, using techniques from the performance arts.
Because in the end, are all performers: some of us find ourselves on stage playing drums, or teaching a class of freshmen, or having to lead the monthly reports meeting to our whole company… And all of us have to talk to strangers at some point. Such situations often bring questions such as “how did I look like”, “was my tone too aggressive?”, “did my hair do that weird thing it sometimes does?”. This is a workshop about that: about finding how people perceive us, which of our attributes make people love us (based on the way we express ourselves), and confidently leaning towards those attributes. It’s about vulnerability, non-verbal aspects of communication, and having a laugh – using theatre, comedy, music and dance to discover more about the way we relate with each other.Taught by Daniel Matias Ferrer, the founder and director of Jam With Humans (a Dutch arts collective). Besides being a musician, they’ve also touched multiple other areas of stage performance, including theatre, dance, comedy and hosting.

A Musical Quest (by Music, Party Two)
Tankstation’s Greenhouse, Emmastraat 189, 7513 BC Enschede, Netherlands, Enschede, OV, NL👉 REGISTER HERE 👈
What if all music that humanity has ever created has been archived, and you were tasked with creating whole “new music”, not based on anything ever played before? Well, that can sound like a lot for one person, but together… we’re still probably going to fail, but at least we’ll have a laugh! This show is a comedy, a musical, and an experimentation on interactive theatre. Two humans from the audience will be appointed as “heroes”, carrying all of us through a role-playing quest in search of Part Two of human music.
