We're hiding out in a thicket of Bamboo in Capitol Hill this week.

Bamboo is a Vietnamese restaurant that has been remarkably accommodating to us in the past, and the prices are quite reasonable. I think you'll enjoy it.

We'll order individually this time, though you're certainly free to share with neighbors. Most of the options on their menu are sort of plate meals. They'll even tolerate a bunch of separate payments at the end of the evening, but it would probably greatly simplify your cashier's life if you bring plenty of cash.

Bus access is easy with routes 8, 43, or 12. Parking is generally reasonable considering the neighborhood; north of the main business drag or one of the residential streets may be easier than 15th Street, however.

Nijikai will probably be at the nearby 22 Doors.

I plan to have a drink and maybe an appetizer over at the nearby Harry's Bar starting around, say, 5:45, and I'll wander over to the main event around 7:15pm. If you want to pre-kai, feel free to join me at Harry's.
