Thursday's Meetup @ Setsuna in Northgate

From: Jason T.
Sent on: Tuesday, June 19, 2012 9:20 PM

I've updated this Meetup. For more details, see the full listing:

When: Thursday, June 21,[masked]:30 PM

Where: Setsuna Japanese Restaurant
11204 Roosevelt Way NE
Seattle, WA 98125

We're meeting at Setsuna in Northgate again, one of Seattle's more affordable Japanese restaurants. We'll order a bunch of things from their izakaya-style menu to share. Most likely, we'll just decide what to order by consulting with our neighbors; I don't plan to pre-order anything.

Pricing usually works out to be between $14-23/person excluding drinks.

Food is pretty simple, and the menu has a few more vegetarian options than you'd expect for a Japanese restaurant (with the usual potential complications of katsuo-dashi), along with various seafood and meat dishes.

You can take a number of buses to Northgate Mall's Park & Ride and just walk a manageable distance from there, and routes 16, 41, 75, 242 and 348 stop particularly close by. There's plenty of parking in Setsuna's lot.

Nijikai will likely carry over into the nifty adjacent bar, which serves the same menu but will at least allow for a change of scenery when it's time for Kojiro to go to bed.

This Meetup repeats every week on Thursday.

If the changes affect your plans to attend, please take a moment to update your RSVP. (You can RSVP "No" or "Yes".)

You can always get in touch with me through my group profile on Meetup.
