Thursday @ The Patio in Capitol Hill

I've updated this Meetup. For more details, see the full listing:

When: Thursday, August 16,[masked]:30 PM

Where: The Patio Fine Thai Cuisine
[masked]th Ave E
Seattle, WA 98112

This week, we're going to a reincarnated Thai restaurant with an outdoor balcony in Capitol Hill.

I could never bring myself to eat here in its former incarnation, Samui Thai, because it's so incredibly hard to achieve a sub-3-star review for even a terrible Thai restaurant on Yelp that I figured it was a Really Bad Idea. But with a new name, and apparently new owners, I'm going to take a little risk here.

We'll order food to share. I'll order an assortment of vegetarian, seafood and meaty dishes; if you have any more complicated dietary requirements, please make a note of it in your RSVP.

Bring plenty of rapidly declining value American currency, so that I don't have to juggle your high-interest credit card.

Bus access is easiest with routes 8 and 43. Parking is maybe slightly easier than if we were on Broadway, but you'll likely need to hunt a bit; 12th and 19th usually have passable options if you find 15th too full.

Nijikai might be at one of the fine drinking establishments along 15th, but those are likely to be full, so we'll probably just end up at the Canterbury instead. The upside is that there's no air conditioning and there are some pool tables on which you can practice your aim using one of the crooked house cues.

This Meetup repeats every week on Thursday.

If the changes affect your plans to attend, please take a moment to update your RSVP. (You can RSVP "No" or "Yes".)

You can always get in touch with me through my group profile on Meetup.
