CyberSecurity Talks: Hacker Attacks, Passwords,Phishing, Ransomeware, & More!

Details

It's time to get back together and learn, meet, and have fun with fellow technologists and innovators!

Our first speaking event of 2021 is back at MOSH with our CyberSecurity edition on October 21st. This time we are talking about passwords, ransomeware, how to not get hacked, and we have some of the foremost experts in Jax talking about how Cybersecurity is impacting business, software, and technology.

As always, we are starting things off with a networking happy hour and wrapping it up with a rooftop DJ party overlooking downtown Jacksonville.

Featured Speakers:

Michael Bouchet
Chief Information Officer, Newfold Digital

What does a large company at the center of internet infrastructure (Register.com, Bluehost, Web.com, Network Solutions, etc) do in response to the exponential increase in cyber attacks? How do you secure infrastructure that houses millions of domains and is constantly under attack from all sides? Michael was tasked with this mission and will share the stories, technologies, and challenges in protecting a leading web and domain provider from cyber attacks.

Steve Giovanni
Chief Technology Officer, Ventra Health

Are you tired of using, remembering, and changing passwords? As a security professional and thought leader, Steve will be sharing some insights into better forward-looking ways to manage security and how we might one day be "passwordless".

Steve Wingate
CISSP, CISM, Director of Information Security, Kraton Corporation

Security at your company doesn't have to feel so negative. Steve will be sharing his "Sunny Side Up Security" approach and tips for how to make sure your teams understand and appreciate the core concepts of cybersecurity. Learn how to train teams about phishing, secure practices, and encourage security thinking without the negativity that it typically creates.

After the sessions join us for a DJ party and hanging out with great people on the MOSH rooftop. Bartenders from the Volstead (www.thevolsteadjax.com) will be joining us as usual to keep the afterparty lively.

As always, a HUGE thank you to our sponsors that make these events possible:
