Puppet Show | Tears of Joy Theatre
Théâtre Raymond Kabbaz is pleased to present There's a Nightmare My Closet, by Mercer Mayer and Jabberwocky by Lewis Carroll, performed by Tears of Joy Theatre with a variety of puppet styles, on Thursday, November 15, 2018. These stories are tied together by the theme of facing and overcoming our fears in ways that will elicit both wonder and giggles. "There's a Nightmare in My Closet" is an imaginative family show based on the renowned children's book of the same title by Mercer Mayer. This piece is a classic of Tears of Joy's repertoire. Over the past twenty years, bushy-haired Michael in his red-striped PJs and the sad eyed, big-eared, blue nightmare monster have traveled all over the world. The boy and the Nightmare are adaptations of Japanese Bunraku puppets and the Jabberwocky is performed with three dimensional shadow puppets created from kitchen utensils which fuels the imagination! Tears of Joy’s 60-minute performance is full of fun, with humor for adults as well as children (ages 3+) to enjoy. Concerts info: • Thursday, November 15, 6:30pm • $15 adult, $10 senior/student, tickets available here: • •[masked] Please note that RSVP to the Meet-up does not give you access to the show, you still need to buy your tickets on

If you love live Jazz or, Classical Music, R & B and fun events.... but don't know where to find it in LA, or if you are just curious about this music genre and want to learn more, then join us as we embark on a musical adventure discovering the diverse jazz music venues throughout Los Angeles.

Our goal is to discover the "Jazz Scene" in the celebrated City of Angels and to have fun in numerous ways throughout Southern California (for singles & couples of all ages).

Along our jazz and fun journey we hope to: find those magical live performances, discover new artists and appreciate the ones who came before, experience the ambiance, history, and flavor of each jazz club, providing exciting venues for some fun events, and, of course, meet new friends ( singles & couples) along the way!

The types of events we host for singles and couples include many ways to have wholesome fun (cruises, dinners, movies, jazz shows, comedy, dancing & much much more).

Bring your friends (singles & couples).
