What we're about
Jet Cities Chorus is a women's a cappella singing group. We are a diverse group of women, and we're always looking for more singers. You do not have to read music, but you do need a good ear and the ability to maintain your part in an ensemble. If you enjoy watching Glee or The Voice, sang in your high school choir, or are looking for something just for YOU, then Jet Cities might be what you're looking for.
Under the direction of Rachel Pack, each choir rehearsal is a lesson in vocal and performance skills, as well as creative opportunities in areas such as choreography, costume design, and show production. Leadership opportunities are available for members as well. Additionally, we are committed to both community involvement and regional competitions. We are affiliated with Sweet Adelines International, a world-wide organization with which we share a passion for music and empowering women in every area of their lives. We encourage singers who want to be a part of a sisterhood filled with music, laughter, support, and camaraderie to come and visit a rehearsal soon. (And did we mention you'll make many new friends?!?)
Jet Cities Chorus welcomes women of any age, disability, ethnicity, gender expression, nationality, race, religion, and sexual orientation to visit a rehearsal and learn about our group.
COVID-19: Jet Cities offers hybrid rehearsals, with both in-person and virtual options, and follows current CDC recommendations. If you feel uncomfortable, masks are encouraged. You can also choose to "attend" the rehearsal virtually via Zoom; contact us for details at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Because conditions change quickly with this virus, we encourage you to visit our Facebook page [ facebook.com/JetCities ] or website [ jetcities.org ] for any changes to these guidelines.
