What we're about
If you answer YES to any of these, I’m sorry but you’re officially a Jetsetter:
-Do you spend hours researching the best restaurant for authentic dishes in the destination you’re headed to?
-Do you have friends who you can reach out to for the “hot spots” for happy hours or where to eat?
-Do you avoid the super touristy places like the plague because you want to do what the locals do?
-Are you particular about where you rest your head during these travels because 3-star hotels and hostels don’t cut it anymore?
What if you could meet up with other like-minded travelers who are professionals like you? People who work hard, but like to enjoy the fruits of their labor, and who are no longer on such a tight budget? Because you want to indulge in ordering an extra dessert (for the culinary exploration, of course) or you’re considering spending that extra $30 to get the better wine vintage? Why not?! I am not talking about having to be rich to enjoy a nice vacation, but as a local in many cities, you end up knowing where you can get the best for the buck and sometimes finding others who appreciate that can be difficult with all our busy schedules.
They say good things come in threes and as three good friends with a shared love of three things: food; wine and travel, we wholeheartedly agree with this! We are three world travelers who enjoy the finer things in life without having to re-mortgage the house in order to buy them. We have all lived all over Europe and want to encourage people to travel better, meaning travelling at a slowed down pace, with plenty of time for that glass of wine in a piazza, time for a wander through the streets and plenty of time to eat our way through the local menus. We seek quality rather than quantity in our trips and we want everyone to travel, as we do, as locals. So come and join us to find out more about how to travel with a local and how to travel better.
Let's eat, drink and be merry before take-off!
