The primary purpose of this happy hour is to bring together authentic travel lovers, to get to know each other, and travel with! You have everything to gain (new friends, new flavors, new life experiences, discovery) and nothing to lose. The activities of this group are geared towards those who like to travel and live like a local.
Let's kick off the meet-and-greet at the fabulous Eddie V's lounge in Tysons (7900 Tysons One Pl, McLean, VA 22102) from 5-7pm on Saturday. Let's share a toast, taste their delicious appetizers, and then those who want to stay some more can enjoy some of their live music!
Travelling is about quality over quantity. It’s about slowing travel down and taking each day at a leisurely pace. It’s about sitting in piazzas filled with tables of people sipping on tiny cups of coffee, basking in the warm sunshine. It’s about smelling fresh croissants wafting from bakeries and listening to the noise of a tower of Babel of languages. A picture of laughter, happiness, contentment and relaxation. This is what a vacation is all about.
Lucy, Dimitra and I have lived in Italy, Spain, Greece, England, USA and France, and want to discuss international travel plans with you! We all know that there is nothing better than traveling with a local! I am from DC, Dimitra is from New Jersey and Lucy is from the UK so we all speak English but we also speak fluent Italian, Spanish, French, Greek and some Catalan. Together we have over 60 years of travel experience combined and we want to extend our local knowledge on our next Mediterranean adventure with you!
