The nucleus of Libertarian thinkers (and doers) in Jhb. Various groupings such as Objectivists, Von Miseans, Anti-statists, free and consent seeking individuals find like and less likeable discussion opportunities at our monthly gettogether at Jhb Libertarian meetup - Every 1st Wed 18h30 Fratellis Ferndale Shopping Centre - No RSVP. We have been doing this for most of 30+ years - so apart from the young participants you will have to tolerate some old farts.

Join our Libdin the 1st Wed of the month, every month!

Libertarianism is the view that each person has the right to live his life in any way he chooses so long as he respects the equal rights of others. Libertarians defend each person's right to life, liberty, and property – rights that people possess naturally, before governments are created.

Join us for fun discussions and bring your ideas on how you would want to change the world!

BTW:

Libertarianism holds that the only proper role of violence is to defend person and property against violence, that any use of violence that goes beyond such just defense is itself aggressive, unjust, and criminal. Libertarianism, therefore, is a theory which states that everyone should be free of violent invasion, should be free to do as he sees fit except invade the person or property of another. What a person does with his or her life is vital and important, but is simply irrelevant to libertarianism.
