What we're about

Toastmasters are people who want to improve their communication and leadership skills in a supportive learn-by-doing environment. This Meetup group lists club meetings and events in Canberra and surrounds, making it easy to find a club near you. Toastmasters clubs are free to visit and every club has 3 main parts:

• Impromptu Speaking

• Prepared Speeches

• Evaluations

As a Toastmaster, you'll learn:

• How to give an impromptu speech

• How to give a prepared speech

• How to evaluate what you hear

• How to introduce speakers

• How to chair and run meetings

And all of these skills will help you develop greater self-confidence.

Want to speak to someone about it before you visit, or looking for a club that's not listed here? Call 1300 653 876 or email us at findclub@d70toastmasters.org.au
