If you are looking for a safe and supportive way to improve your leadership and public speaking skills while meeting friendly new people and enjoying a warm and social atmosphere - you've come to the right place.
Toastmasters International is a non-profit educational organization that teaches public speaking and leadership skills through a worldwide network of clubs. This Meetup group lists club meetings and events in Sydney and surrounds, making it easier to find a club near you. All Toastmasters clubs are free to visit. Each meeting consists of 3 main parts:
• Impromptu Speaking
• Prepared Speeches
• Evaluations

Dramatic Toastmasters Club
Dark Elixir Cafe, Shop G14/35 East St,, Granville , AUWe are a fun group under 100 years' Toastmasters brand. We like coming together to share recent stories, act out our favourite TV or movie scenes, and tell some jokes. Often we discover some good tips on how to tell stories, deliver a joke and be a good friend to others.
Please come along if any of this sounds like something you also enjoy. We can guarantee you with good smiles and laughs.
Face to face Meeting every 2nd and 4th Saturday afternoon 3-5PM at Granville Place. Visitors are welcome to attend up to three meetings to get a feel. We meet at 2.45PM just outside the Dark Elixir Cafe, depart at 3pm SHARP for secure function room.
You can simply observe or participate at your own choice. We have laminated cheatsheets to support if you wanna give it a go.
And… there’s optional dinner socials after every meeting. We enjoy a delicious and cheap meal at a local Granville restaurant, often a highlight of the day.
