What we're about

Toastmasters are people who want to improve their communication and leadership skills in a supportive learn-by-doing environment. This Meetup group lists club meetings and events in Sydney and surrounds, making it easy to find a club near you. Toastmasters clubs are free to visit and every club has 3 main parts:

• Impromptu Speaking

• Prepared Speeches

• Evaluations

As a Toastmaster, you'll learn:

• How to give an impromptu speech

• How to give a prepared speech

• How to evaluate what you hear

• How to introduce speakers

• How to chair and run meetings

And all of these skills will help you develop greater self-confidence.

Want to speak to someone about it before you visit, or looking for a club that's not listed here? Call 1300 653 876 or email us at findclub@d70toastmasters.org.au

Tackling Table Topics Workshop

Arncliffe Scots Sport and Recreation Club

The Simply Toastmasters Learn and Do Program has started. You will be exposed to a great technique to best tackle Table Topics (also known as impromptu speaking). You will be shown how to use the same technique to either answer an important question OR to create a short presentation. At the end of the workshop, there will be ample practice time. Special Note - We have invited an ex-member, Dimitra Tzanos, to deliver a motivational speech at this meeting.

Bel-air Toastmaster Club Meeting

Maroubra Senior Citizens Club

Hello Everyone, Welcome to Bel-Air Toastmasters. Meetings are now every First and Third Friday of every month from 7:30pm to 9:30pm at Maroubra Senior Citizens Club, 6 Alma Road, Maroubra Junction, NSW. Public speaking terrifies many people, even if those people speak in front of our own peers. Like most things in life, public speaking is a marathon, and not a sprint. We make small little gains, we get a little more confident, and one success builds upon the next. In years, you will find yourself become a great public speaker once you stick to it. Please bring a friend. We love having new people.

You are most welcome to visit Elouera Toastmasters Club
