1) A warm and welcoming gathering of women who want to work on their personal health and wellness goals.
2) Adult women who want to socialize and get the education, training and support they need to achieve lasting, whole-person health and well-being using safe,evidence-based lifestyle medicine and cognitive-behavioral approaches.
3) Each in-person group meeting will feature time for relaxation, socialization and networking, a structured educational presentation on a topic of interest and will include relevant materials. Light, healthy refreshments will be provided.
Planned optional activities may include women’s wellness retreats, walking groups, participation in other athletic events, cooking demonstration and tasting parties, community service projects, wellness events, invitations to special presentations and more!
Some topics we will focus on include optimizing nutrition, getting more physically active, getting adequate, restorative sleep, reducing and managing stress, having healthy and satisfying relationships, discovering and maximizing our signature strengths, getting organized, honing our executive functioning skills, overcoming parenting and family challenges, effective coping, reducing risky drinking and more.
