We meet around a fire to learn and grow as a community of men.
We believe that growing young men need positive role models and support from emotionally healthy adult men; men who’ve done their work, looked at their shadows, gotten clear and present with friends, colleagues, partners and their own children. We believe, like Frederick Douglass, that it is far far better to build emotionally strong boys than it is to fix broken men.
We believe that boys need real men (not Real Men) in their lives - men who are accountable when they mess up or fail, men who can be strong and vulnerable, tough and tender, foolish and wise.
We are currently meeting once a week, building a strong community of men who will train as mentors to young men in the Glastonbury area.
