In jugger there are two main positions, a weapons person and a qwik. Weapons people wield padded weapons and must protect the qwik. The qwik has no weapon but they are the only person who can hold the ball and score. Which position would you like?

There are 5 main weapon types, Staff - strong & quick, Q-Tip - fast & hit with both ends, Long Sword - fastest weapon, Sword & Shield - block & strike, Ball & Chain - longest reach (you will look badass!). Which would you like to try first?

Umm...I'm Ann Marie. I play jugger and change colour when I get cold.

What Ann Marie B. is saying about this Meetup Group

Rather good session. Started with a light game of zombie, then did a very thorough warm up. Moved on then to some technical drills where we were split up into small groups for 2 on 1 training, then 3 on 1 training. Found this excersise to be very benefitial for figuring out which players work well/not so well together, and as a pressure test for the player defending themselves against 2 or 3 other players. Pinning games came next. I watched/refereed for this along with 2 other players. After that, games. I found the teams to be uneven, but decided to roll with it because I personally want to push myself hard in training for the Berlin Championships this September. Maintaining a level head when losing, concentrating on making each point, communicating more with your team, field awareness, and efficiently killing what's in front of you are all very important aspects to playing a match, not just focusing on winning. Overall, rather good session. 12 attendees in total.
