This is the third meetup from the Julia User Group Munich. Thanks everyone for participating last time, it was a pleasure to see its working virtual!

This meetup series targets everyone just interested Julia, as well as enthusiasts who may already work on their own libraries. If you are new to Julia and curious about what it can do what Python or R cannot, feel heartily welcome to join! This meetup is for you. If you want to present your own Julia package, get some feedback on it, talk about a detail you love, or get more hands-on on a concrete part ofJulia, this meetup is also for you. Everyone feel welcome!

Let's create a solid community, building up a support network, and going to spread Julia more and more into the Munich Data Science world.

Here the agenda for Wednesday 10.06.2020

  • 19:00 - 19:45 Sabine Auer: PowerDynamics.jl - dynamical analysis of powergrids with Julia.

  • 20:00 - 20:45 Jan Weidner: Changing the immutable (Setfield.jl)

  • 21:00 - 22:00 more time for socializing and collecting ideas for the upcoming Julia meetups.

Thanks a lot to Sabine Auer and Jan Weidner and Gregor Kappler (presented last time) for contributing to the Julia User Group!

GREAT NEWS: As the interest in a monthly Meetup was rather large last time, I am going to switch to a monthly schedule from this session on!

This gives us the opportunity to have also more contributions, hence feel welcome to get creative and contribute your suggestions!

Looking forward to see you all at the third Julia User Group Meetup Munich. It is going to be virtual again - link will follow shortly before the meetup.
