**Due to continuing interest in our August 14th workshop, we've scheduled another one for August 28th.**
Jump Into The Light (http://www.jumpintothelight.com/) in a partnership with Mikita Labanok and Abelana VR (http://abelanavr.com/) presents VIRTUAL CLASSROOM - the first of a kind educational experience designed for group visits from schools, summer camps, education centers, and for everyone else who wants to experience how virtual reality makes scientific concepts intuitive and easy to grasp in a collective learning environment.
For the first time in New York City, we are conducting early access sessions for teachers and other interested professionals to demonstrate our initial virtual class dedicated to the topic of atoms, orbitals, and the Periodic Table. We will show how a teacher can have an individual approach to working with a class of kids in our facility, demonstrate both educational and entertainment elements of the VR experience, and provide you with more materials that you can use to plan future visits. Representatives of Abelana VR will also be available onsite to answer your questions and to help address unique situations and plans.
If you are an educator or a professional who works with groups of children aged 12+, and you want to see how virtual reality can bring the STEM education to the next level, please come and join us for a demo session at Jump Into The Light, located at 180 Orchard St. in Manhattan. Feel free to let us know about your interest in organizing group visits to experience VIRTUAL CLASSROOM by emailing at [masked].
