ROSE & CROWN (BANFF)

Let's take Just Dance to a higher level. We could all use a break from the Calgary city life so let's go on a road trip to Banff. Only an hour and a half away and maybe for some of you an hour settled in the wonderful mountain landscape. The band Venom Rain will be playing that evening at the Rose and Crown. This band plays a lot of cover bands but they are good time Rock n' Roll.

Most of us I would imagine will be staying in Banff overnight and suggestions that came up of where to stay was the Inns of Banff. It is only a few blocks from the Rose & Crown. This hotel is priced fairly reasonable at $143.42 a night including taxes. The rooms have two queen size beds with limited view. The rooms with mountain views are $160.10 a night including taxes, It also has two queen size beds. This will allow you to share and make your overnight price even cheaper. These prices are subject to change so book early. If you love the water this hotel has a wonderful rooftop pool and sauna that overlooks the mountains. Check-in before the meet-up and have a little swim that's where I will be. The number for reservations is 1-800-661-1272. I am working on getting us a group rate if there is enough people interested. If you have a credit card you can book your room for a guaranteed rate. They will not charge your card until checkout. Please note though that there is only a 72 hour cancellation time so if you need to cancel please keep that in mind otherwise your credit card will be charged. The next day you will have time to explore Banff at your own leisure or perhaps there will be another meet-up that is doing a hike in the mountains. Come have fun and Just Dance the night away.
