Was hoping for more romance-relevant info. Maybe my mistake. Anyways, felt more like what I'd guess an AA/NA meeting is like. Left 5/8 of the way through (or so) out of frustration/boredom. Speaker is sincere and seems like a kind man, with some interesting thoughts, but after the first hour I didn't get more out of the talk than commonly-understood notions of repression in traditional psychoanalytic theory, mixed with a rough biological interpretation of how these mechanisms work. Kind of flakey at times. Again, maybe I went for the wrong reason (romantic relationship tips).

I lost patience for the talk about 5/8 of the way through and left. Was hoping for romance-relevant info. This felt more like what I'd imagine an AA/NA meeting is.
