Tour De Bier -- NEEDS A HOST

Hey low-gear leisure-ists! Despite the latest dusting of snow, spring is sprung, and we'll be ramping up our rides. But, I need your help! My schedule is hectic and I can't host events as often as I'd like.

I am putting Tour De Bier (http://tdb.bikewalkkc.org/) on our calendar, because it looks fun, and we should support BikeWalkKC (http://bikewalkkc.org/), who work to make Greater Kansas City a safer and more enjoyable place to walk, bike, and live. Not to mention, some tasty beers from local craft breweries will be on tap, including Boulevard, Tall Grass, and one of the newest: Big Rip (http://bigripbrewing.com/).

Unfortunately, when I looked at the Tour De Bier web site, I saw an awful lot of spandex:

Also, I was troubled by the words "limited beer tasting." We at KC-PPC try not to put limits on our members. So, I won't be hosting this event, but I SWEAR it has nothing to do with my unwillingness to climb out of bed before Noon on Sundays.

I'm posting Tour De Bier in case anybody else is interested in meeting up. I hope a bunch of you will sign up, and somebody will step up to host it for our club. Just send me a message or leave a comment below, and I'll make you the Event Host. And look out for more rides soon. Or better yet, plan, schedule, and host one of your own!
