We would like to welcome you to Mid-America Association of Real Estate Investors, more commonly known as MAREI. As the largest Real Estate investor education group in the Kansas City Metro area, we provide our members an unsurpassed education as well as the finest networking opportunities available.

Our goal is to educate and motivate real estate investors to achieve the success they desire. The group’s focus is promoting successful and ethical real Estate investing standards for both the experienced and novice investor.

MAREI meetings are held the second Tuesday of every month. The meeting location is the Holiday Inn at 8787 Reeder Road in Overland Park, KS. Meeting begins at 6:00 PM with informal round group discussions, followed by an informative meeting reflecting the current real estate market trends.

What is “Creative Deal Structuring?

Bill Cook, a past speaker at MAREI shares that the easiest way to tell you what creative deal structuring is, is to tell you what it’s NOT. It’s not finding a house to buy at 70% of ARV and then going to an institutional lender to get a traditional mortgage. Everything else is creative deal structuring.
