OTHER RISKS: In these walks we use; country stiles, pavements, cross busy roads, public parkland, paths alongside water, bridlepaths, country lanes and other established paths and tracks through woodland, bush and countryside. Wear good sturdy shoes/walking boots. To avoid insects, thorns, and stinging nettles, bare legs are not recommended. Take care as surfaces may be uneven, there may be low branches and some paths are also used by joggers and cyclists and sometimes cars (country lanes). Some tracks may be muddy and slippery. On occasion we may encounter wild and farm animals. If you require insurance for these walks you must arrange this yourself. No children or dogs please.

A GREEN WALK from Hatton Cross Station along the River Crane to Feltham. This is an 'organised participation event for sport and physical activity', taking place in line with government guidelines to limit the spread of Covid 19. KEEPING THE COMMUNITY AND WALKING MEMBERS SAFE: 1. At Start Point: The organiser will direct members to socially distance at one of several designated points near the start with a maximum of 6 persons at each point. 2. Route: Walk will be focused, where possible, on green open spaces and forested areas well away from busy streets and other members of the community. 3. Walk will remain dispersed at all times - which means no gatherings or bunching of more than 6 persons ; 4. Walk will be at a good pace and continuous with no stopping in order to maintain dispersal of walkers (therefore walk may not be suitable for slow walkers). 5. Walk in small groups of 2 or 3, with approx 5 metres between these small groups. 6. Walk can only be attended by registered members who do not have covid symptoms and who have not been in contact - in the last 2 weeks - with someone with symptoms of covid, or someone who tested positive. 7. Do not travel to the start of the walk in groups or use car sharing. 8. Attendees must agree to meet the following requirements. Any member who has booked on and who does not attend will be excluded from future walks for the longer of 50 days or for the period of current government imposed covid restrictions. B. Any member who cancels their RSVP on the day of the walk will be excluded from future walks for the shorter of 25 days, or for the period of government imposed covid 19 restrictions.
