Lunch at Dharma Realm Guan Yin Sagely Monastery Canteen, Jalan Ampang (Monthly)
Hi there, This meetup is set to repeat every 1st Wednesday of the month. So book your calendars! Important message: THIS IS A SOCIAL EXPERIMENT. The Event Organizer ie Natasha WILL NOT be attending these meetups. She has a fulltime job not near KLCC so is unable to show up. However, members who WOULD like to turn up are advised to: a) leave messages here on the event's message board, or b) PM each other (if you RSVP you can see who is interested to attend right? Then PM each other la), or c) Contact Natasha the Organizer so she can introduce you to one another so you can make plans to meet up at the temple. Again, I repeat, this is an unmanned ship and just an experiment for now. I believe we have members who would find this location and timing excellent for them. But, I am sorry I cannot be there. Do help me out however you can to make this monthly gathering for KL veg*an lovers a success. Feedback is very important here since I will not be there to judge for myself how things are going. Do talk to me so we can adjust things as we go along. Thank you again to the Malaysian Vegetarian Society (MVS) for sponsoring this Meetup group. Do consider signing up as a member and/or supporting them on Facebook. The temple serves excellent food, is great value-for-money and I highly recommend a visit. However, please be mindful that it is a PLACE OF WORSHIP. Mind your manners and behave+dress appropriately. More links on the temple+canteen: And lastly, please upload pics if you can! What we're about

This is a group for people interested in healthy and concious eating, and eating together. You may be here because vegetarian eating is very relevant to your spiritual beliefs. Or you feel concerned about climate change and the high carbon cost of producing red meat. Or you think that, well, actually its nice to forego the meat and bump up the veg in your diet sometimes; makes the body a little less 'heaty' and poo time a breeze. Whatever your motivations are, the organizer bids you a warm welcome and encourages members to take ownership of the group, to suggest and organise new meetups. Here we go!
