Talk 1

Speakers: Timothy Findlay and Yang Yang

Timothy is a lover of data engineering and will share an introduction to Kafka and some of its supporting tools like Confluent Schema Registry; what it does and how it works.

Yang Yang is a backend engineer from Afterpay and will be focus on talking about the lessons learnt from adopting Kafka as data platform in Afterpay production.
