Relaxation and Remove Mental Blocks - Group Guided Meditations
Sharing two group guided meditations: Relaxation and Removing Mental Blocks. Both meditations are progressive and cumulative, meaning that the more you practice the better you will become at controlling your stress / relaxation response and removing those mental blocks that are holding you back from enjoying life. As part of our second meditation we will be using Lojong (Mind Training Techniques) with Tonglen contemplative meditation in combination with a Loving Kindness Meditation (Metta) and Maitri techniques. If you would like - bring a cushion or mat to sit / lie on...wear comfortable clothes, feel free to have a meditation journal, and music will be provided for the group. Will be providing "Flow" tea and water at 6PM, if you would like to come and talk with others prior to the meditation. Asking new participants - please come around 6:15ish... First meditation starts at 6:30 (Guided Relaxation Meditation with mindfulness techniques incorporated) Second meditation starts at 7:00 (Removing Mental Blocks - getting unstuck) If you have anything particular you would like to address or recommend, please feel free to message me. Finally a Meditation Community for the Katy Area! Explore with others the emotional, mental, and physical benefits of meditation. All levels welcomed, even beginners.

If you have never tried meditation prior, we ask that you meet with me for a quick class to get you aligned with the rest of the group, so that you may get the most out of the group and the meditations.

Note: A Group Meditation is where one member of the group leads a meditation for the entire group and a Self-Study Meditation is where we meet and meditate on our own (whatever type of meditation you are working on) as a group.
