New to kayaking? GREAT! We offer multiple levels of classes (http://www.kayakpower.com/kpc/www/2.html) held locally to the DFW metroplex.
Want to get on the water but don't have your own kayak? No problem! We offer rentals (http://www.kayakpower.com/kpc/www/4.html) for kayaks and all the required safety gear, and we will even meet you at the location of your paddling trip and pick the boats up when you're done.

SAN JUAN RIVER UTAH HIKING AND PADDLING ADVENTURE
Join KayakPower for a 5 day/ 4 night southeast Utah paddle and hiking adventure. We will base out of the community of Bluff, Utah (population 250), quietly nestled between 300-foot, red sandstone cliffs along the San Juan River making it the ideal setting to start exploring southeast Utah.
The trip combines exploring the history of ancient Puebloan life from land and the water. Participants will explore the area’s cultural and geological history by hiking to ancient Puebloan Petroglyphs to see the story board of their lives and paddling down the San Juan river as it snakes through the Navajo Nation and the headland canyons of the Grand Canyon.
Spend 2 days exploring petroglyphs and ruins on foot and from the water before launching on a 3 day-2 night river trip. Combination of hotels and riverside camping.

Run in parallel with the LLELA Eco-Tour, we provide moving water skills development training. This class is ideal for those with flatwater or river float kayak experience. We work on refining your boat maneuvering skills and introduce a few specialized strokes for moving water. You will learn how draw strokes allow you to cross the current and more quickly turn your boat.
Depending on water level we will encounter 2, possibly 3 features to practice refining your skills.
Price includes rental off all paddling gear; boat, PFD, paddle and helmet, shuttle and instruction from ACA L2 River instructors.
