This is an online meetup using Zoom. Because of the transmission lag, we cannot jam in real time, but each participant can lead songs. The other participants will be able to jam along at home by muting their mic.

You must RSVP to this event to see the Zoom meeting link.

It is important that you set up Zoom on your device and test it well in
advance of the meeting to avoid technical problems during the meeting. You will need a device with speakers or headphones and a microphone.

Please join the meeting a couple of minutes early if you can to get your audio and video settled so we may begin on time without interruptions.

*** Also, to improve the sound of playing an instrument while singing, go to the Zoom settings from the app, or start a meeting of your own beforehand so you can set your audio as follows:

  1. Select "Audio Settings".
  2. Deselect (un-check) "Automatically adjust volume, and slide the volume setting to about 80%.

You may then close that meeting. These settings will remain when you join the KFMS meeting.
