Providence Geeks, led by Brian Jepson and Joel Evans, has been a staple in the Rhode Island tech community for over a decade, helping Rhode Island’s digital innovators connect and collaborate. Tonight, Kenzan and Providence Geeks are excited to reveal a new website, rebuilt and rebranded, with the hope of furthering the mission of Providence Geeks. Built over the last few months as an open source project in GitHub by Kenzan, with the intent of being a community driven effort post launch, this presentation will focus on how the project came to fruition covering the product and technical design, development, and deployment practices utilized. Please come join us as we not only share our excitement for the new website, but also for what we hope this project will provide for Providence Geeks and the Rhode Island tech community!
