Looking for like-minded art and culture lovers in and around Keyport, NJ! I'm dreaming of: art gallery openings, live music, choral concerts, the ballet, the opera, community theatre, art classes....you get the picture.
This is a group that will welcome and celebrate diversity! Are you a grown-up human? Are you kind? Are you kind-of a grown up? Then you are invited to join us!
Keep smiling! :)

Marked, Unmarked, Remembered: A Geography of American History. Photographs by Andrew Lichtenstein "From Wounded Knee to the Edmund Pettus Bridge, Marked, Unmarked, Remembered presents photographs by Andrew Lichtenstein of significant sites from U.S. history, posing unsettling questions about the contested memory of traumatic episodes from the nations past. Focusing especially on landscapes related to African American, Native American and labor history, Lichtenstein reveals new vistas of officially commemorated sites, sites that are neglected or obscured, and sites that serve as a gathering place for active rituals of organized memory."

FREE: Tuesday Night Record Club: The Clash's London Calling

Monmouth University's Wilson Auditorium (downstairs in Wilson Hall)

This event is free, but you need to register here: https://www.monmouth.edu/mca/series/tuesday-night-record-club/ "It’s just like book club but with albums! With new advances in technology, the way we consume music through our devices, apps and on demand streaming services like Pandora, Spotify and iTunes is making the idea of the “album” as an art form extinct. Get together with other music enthusiasts on Tuesday nights to discuss some of the greatest records of all-time! Listen to the album beforehand and then come prepared to discuss… there will be special guest moderators and panelists at each event! "
