    What we're about

Hello and welcome! This is a group for Brits, family, friends, Britophiles, Brit-curious and generally anyone who might occasionally get the urge to have a natter with some friendly sorts, maybe over a cuppa or a pint (well 4/5ths of a UK pint). Sign up and come meet up!

We will be holding events throughout the Kitsap Peninsula (Bremerton, Poulsbo, Bainbridge Island, Silverdale, Port Orchard, Gig Harbor) in the next year, especially in conjunction with our primary sponsor, Britevents Northwest. We also hope to encourage other sponsors to come forward and support events.

Britevents Northwest (https://www.briteventsnw.com) provides a web connection between Meet Up, Sponsors, and on line participation is British stuff. You can also take advantage of “sister” links with the long-established Seattle Brits Meet Up group and the newer Tacoma British Experiences group. Events across these two groups in 2017 have included free VIP movie tickets, Britquiz (a fun Brit themed trivia quiz), Pub games social, annual cricket match and picnic, free Brit food sampling, and the annual Guy Fawkes bonfire.

We will be holding a number of events over the next few months to get our membership built up. Even if you do not want to organize an event, I also welcome new event ideas. I will be holding an Organizer social every quarter where you can meet me as a new or existing member, discuss an event idea, or find out more about being an organizer or host. Maybe you just want to hang out with some other Brits and Britophiles, so that works too.
