The FS Klamath Ranger District will host a Basic First Aid class for trail partner volunteers. This session is FREE.
Current First Aid is required for saw certification and is great to have just in case someone becomes ill or is injured in the field. This session is presented by Melanie Fullman under the Emergency Care and Safety Institute.
Class will cover basic first aid, illness, wound care, patient stabilization, splinting, transport, CPR and AED.
The session will be 8-5 Saturday May 16 at the FS Klamath Ranger District Office at 2819 Dahlia St, Klamath Falls, OR 97601. Please park at the back of the building.
Please bring a lunch and water bottle.
Participants are asked to commit to at least 1 volunteer project this season with any of our trail partners including Klamath Trails Alliance, Siskiyou Mountain Club, Back Country Horsemen, Klamath Outdoor Group, Klamath Basin Snowdrifters or Chiloquin Ridge Riders.
ANother class will be offerred on the evenings of June 3 and 4.

Join us for trail clean up and campout if you like at the trailhead. Raking, lopping and weed eating. All needed tools and lunch will be provided. Work gloves, long pants, and good shoes are recommended. If you would like to help out both days camping will be available at the trailhead in designated areas.

Class will be 2 consecutive evenings 5-9 on Wed and Thurs June 3/4. YOU MUST ATTEND BOTH SESSIONS
