What we’re about
Our mission for "Knights of Empathy (KoE)" is to help in transforming the conversation around mental wellness.
Our beneficiaries can be creatively expressed through the word "empathy":
EMPATHY -- Employers, Managers, Professionals, Achievers, Teams, Homemakers, Youth
Why do we call ourselves "Knights of Empathy"? Knights exemplify chivalry and fight for the causes that they believe in and often offer support to others, whether it's through a helping hand or a listening ear. It is our hope that our Knights will be gracious in their conduct in the quest to destigmatize mental health stigma.
Also, we hope to start off in 2 areas of focus for now:
1) Teaching and nurturing empathy and listening skills in teenagers
2) Bringing about awareness of, educating and promoting the benefits of employee mental wellbeing/wellness
We will be organizing talks and workshops regularly to address these 2 main focus. Our speakers and trainers are all personally screened before they can present at our events. At times we will share our experiences as well.
We also have some other plans for that involved the theme of "empathy", so stay tuned!
