SESSION SUMMARY:
At the Feb 2016 KMA meetup, Michael Lennon led an exploration of how the Science of Happiness was impacting both KM and Org. Performance. The session began with the question "Is KM dead or alive?" The resulting discussion was so animated that the meetup only covered half of the materials Mr. Lennon had prepared that day. In this meetup, Mr. Lennon returns both to the original question, "KM: dead or alive?" while reviewing evidence and models from the Sciences of Happiness, of Learning, of Org. Performance, as well as, other evidence-based innovations in the practice of Management. SPEAKER BIO:
At George Washington University’s Center for Excellence in Public Leadership, Michael Lennon teaches Results-Based Management Systems, Human-centered Design, as well as, about innovating Innovation in the Public Interest. His current foci are: Govpreneurship, Decision Science & Positive Performance Management. Mr Lennon recently co-founded CAIPP.org - a consortium of scientists and practitioners equipping Organizations to more effectively Align Evidence, Learning and Management Practices for Greater Impact, Influence and Insight.
