Machine Learning and Visualization for the Information Professional

Tara McDarby is a masters student at University of Borås, Sweden where she studies at the school of Library & Information Science. In this talk, she will be looking at machine learning techniques for the library sector and how we can borrow visualisation methods from the sciences to represent our findings. Part of the event will also involve a group discussion on how to use these techniques with large collections.
