Creating a Safe, Fun Place for Knowledge Sharing

Details
Being the Culture Change Chair for the DISA Employee Resource groups can be quite a challenge. It requires extensive research and a "trial and error" approach to the implementation of communication events. Limited communication, interoffice competition, and lack of positive feedback leads to anxiety and lack of engagement. Which lowers morale and creates a lack of desire to share knowledge. In this KMCDC session, Dave will present a proven planning template to bring people together to start a conversation, promote engagement, build trust, and improve morale! Learn how to build a collaborative conversation in a safe fun place for knowledge sharing.
Roundtable Exercise: Share your knowledge sharing experiences and insights.
SPEAKER BIO:
David Lambert (LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/david-lambert-0951811b/ ) currently works as a Project Lead with the Mission Partner Engagement Team at DISA. Additional responsibilities for the agency include Culture Change Chair for the agency's Employee Resource Groups.
Dave's primary passion and focus is creating custom structured approaches to connect with others so they can share what they know, build a sense of community and remove any roadblocks holding them back from having a positive influence the world around them.
When Dave is not spending time with his family, he is a martial arts instructor and impromptu story teller. After finding inner peace through his project Not Alone, where he listens to others without judgement, Dave is using his free time to bring awareness to people doing good things and the resources available to them, if requested.
Dave believes knowledge and self-awareness is the key to a happy life and is using his love of making work fun and meeting others, to lift people up, acknowledge efforts and share what they know to fight things like stigma, anxiety and self-doubt.
