Talk 2: In the world of microservices, service mesh has become an essential infrastructure for managing communication between different components of an application. But how can you build a reliable and secure microservices architecture?
In this Service Mesh Crash Course, Viktor Gamov, Principal Developer Advocate at Kong, will guide you through the jungle of service mesh. Viktor will demystify the concept of service mesh and show how it can be used to simplify the management of microservices while providing a Zero Trust security model. No prior knowledge of service mesh is required!
Whether you're a developer or an operator/SRE who supports microservices, you'll find something helpful in this talk. Viktor will show you how to use projects like Kuma and Kong Mesh to implement a service mesh that captures logs, traces, and metrics for observability. He'll also talk about the importance of a service mesh in handling communication between different components and managing network complexity. Get ready to mesh things up!
