Goat, Goat, Soup and Soup at BULROCHO (Seoul Hae Jang Kook)

This place always looks interesting, time to try it out!  They're open 24 hours and specialize in goat.  People report they provide a fried fish with their banchan (like at BCD), which is an encouraging sign.

Cold weather means soup is good food!

Lets get a few different dishes to get some variety and see what we like instead of just sticking only to their specialty - goat soup. There is no sign in English, look instead just south of Park's BBQ (Park's is at the far North end of this mall, bottom floor).

So with this in mind, here's our menu:

1) Goat Soup (we'll choose size depending on event attendance)

2) Goat Meat (ditto)

3) Mixed Mushroom and Tofu Soup (sized for 1 person but hey lets try it)

4) Dried Pollock and Tofu Soup (ditto)

They also have a "hangover" soup (with innards and ox blood) for the adventurous but for the main group let's stick with the above.

They also have chicken ginseng soup, ox tail soup and ox bone soup (sul lung tang) but other places specialize in just those things so we'll pass on these.  Menus are provided with English translations.

I liked the goat soup, it's quite spicy though. I'd like to return to try other soups since the mushroom and fish soup were good and they have various sorts of rice porridge.

Right next to Parks BBQ. Look for the cute Black Goat signage.
