Welcome to the first Kotlin Meetup in Zagreb!

We're starting a community of enthusiasts and people interested in Kotlin and giving them a space to talk, network and have fun.

For the first meetup, we have two talks for you:

First up is Marko Božić with the topic "Improving Rx properties with Kapt".

Description: In the first part, I’ll explain why we use Rx and which properties of Rx sequences are the ones we care about while developing mobile applications. After that, we’ll talk about how to prove that your code satisfies these properties and how Kapt can help us achieve that.

Bio: Until three months ago, he had served as a CTO of a fast-growing startup called Bellabeat where, apart from managing people, he played with architecture, mobile and back-end applications. Currently unemployed and while searching for new opportunities, he's trying to build something useful on the Blockchain.

Next up, we have Miroslav Radanović with the topic "Kotlin - multiplatform support".

Description: This talk will introduce you with possibilities of Kotlin multi-platform feature. Share same code base and business logic between different platforms, while managing to persist native app look and feel.

Bio: Miro is Android developer at Undabot. He likes to mingle with different ideas and patterns in the IT world. He really enjoys spending free time in nature, bouldering and growing indoor plants!
