Open to all beginners to advanced An uplifting blend of spiritual and physical practice, Kundalini Yoga incorporates movement,dynamic breathing techniques,meditation, and the chanting of mantras. The goal was s to build vitality and increase consciousness. In this 6 weeks series, (drop in also welcomed) we will explore the basic pranayama, learning one new breathing technique in detail for each class. This will be followed by a yoga set and meditation that highlights that particular technique. Pranayama is the science of breath,practicing the use and control of breathing to create new patterns and rhythms of being. In Kundalini Yoga we use specific breathing techniques to increase our physical,mental,emotional and overall energetic state. It also allows the flow of the Kundalini energy through using breath to change the usual flow of the life force energy.
