Celebrate International Women's Day with Kundalini Yoga, Breathwork, Gong, Meditations, Chai Tea & Tasty Treat with a special guest looking at Diet & Herbs to support Hormonal & Emotional Health
You have a female body for this incarnation. So how do you honour and love this beautiful gift? The extraordinary creative power that is inherently within the female body is miraculous, and requires special care. Yogi Bhajan taught for a couple of months each year, just to women at Women’s Camps. He reminded them of their Beauty, Bliss, Bounty, Grace, Nobility and Power.
Please join together with other women to move, stretch,meditate and laugh as we go over some of these teachings and remind ourselves how amazing we truly are, so that we can affect and uplift everyone around us just by being ourselves.
This workshop specifically honours the multi-layered and complex rhythms and cycles that flow through a woman’s life. This includes the ones that occur over your life time and the transitions within it, and within the month or 28 day moon cycle. Within this there is also a shorter 2/12 day cycle through you moon centres which affect how you feel and behave.
We will practice breathing, yoga and meditation techniques to balance and regulate the hormones and endocrine system (including a short set for preventing early onset menopause and giving mental & emotional balance), sexual/reproductive energy and moon centres. You will also be encouraged to take one technique to practice for the following 40 days or more. There will be instructions or video links sent for those who would like to take up any of the practices.
There will be Deep Relaxation with the Gong, which is powerful for rebalancing the nervous system/bringing you into a natural state of healing, clearing stuck energy patterns and leaves you feeling elevated and connected to yourSelf.
We will also spend about 45 minutes with my special guest Fiona Allison, looking briefly at Signs, Symptoms & Causes of Hormonal Imbalances and then spend the majority of the time focusing on Ways to Balance Hormones Naturally - focusing on 3 main areas of Diet, Adaptogen Herbs & Emotional Support
