Come to the Kyiv DevOps meetup to learn more about and share information on the DevOps movement - culture, practices and tools.
This is a group for professionals, hackers, managers, and engineers - from development and operations backgrounds. We will try to cover anything and everything about DevOps including Automation, Orchestration, Containers, Virtualisation, Service Discovery, Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery.

Abstract: Site Reliability Engineering is what you get when you treat operations as if it’s a software problem. Our mission is to protect, provide for, and progress the software and systems behind all of Google’s public services. I will share some details about our approach to reliability, organizational structure and staffing, training and incident response.

Abstract: Engineers like to be interviewed at Grammarly, and many of them say it was the best interview they ever passed. So they ask me to share my interviewer experience. I tried to make that topic interesting not only for DevOps\SRE hiring managers but for every engineer. DevOps\SRE interview will be just an example how you can make your interviewer skills better.

Abstract: I'm going to go with you through journey of one of the interesting part of PostgreSQL database is phrase search, how to add it to you current project, I'll show you benchmarks of full iTunes database with more than 2,3 millions of apps. We cover how smart PostgreSQL phrase search and how to rank results. Also I would love to show you different ranking strategies and how to use it.
Also I'll cover PostgreSQL 10 new Full text search abilities in JSONs.

Abstract: Many of modern engineering organizations very much rely on the DevOps. Every organization has their understanding of what DevOps is. The goal of this talk is clarifying what is DevOps is, how it's been used to solve a real-life problem and about possible future of that term.
