React Kyiv + Kiwi.com April Meetup / GraphQL Edition

We are happy to announce our next React Kyiv meetup that will take place on 19th of April at 18:30. We're making this event in collaboration with kiwi.com from Czech Republic so the whole meetup will be on English 🇬🇧.

This is a short introductory talk about how from Kiwi.com mobile app and Help center to our brand new back office system, we use GraphQL on a wide range of different projects. I will tell you more about them and about our new development team in Prague.

👉 "GraphQL essentials: what you should know"

We will cover purpose of GraphQL and ecosystem around it, look at the syntax (requests and responses shapes, fragments, attributes and variables) and cover main open source tools you can use to create your first GraphQL server and to send requests from a client. Get ready for the journey! :)

👉 "How we started with GraphQL on top of our REST API"

GraphQL is a great technology, but you can't stop all the development everytime you spotted something cool on Twitter. Learn how to start using GraphQL when you already have a REST API and how to run production-ready GraphQL without a need for new servers.

This time we will open a registration on 16th of April, Monday, at 2:00 pm, by this link – http://bit.ly/ReactKyivApril You will need to fill out the form and then you'll get a code to your email. That code will be used as an entry pass to the meetup.

Remember, if you register and do not come 3 times, you will be blacklisted forever with no way going back. And if for some reason you can't register via google forms (or just don't want to) we have Pizza Policy which means that you can use Pizza as permission entry. So you can enter the meetup with either pizza or registration code :)
